BASIS OF ALLOTMENT
The Board of Directors of Impex Ferro Tech Limited (IFTL) thank the investing public
for their response to the Public Offer of Equity Shared of the Company which opened
for subscription on December 22, 2004 and closed on December 31,2004. The Company has
received 62839 valid applications for a total 238965000 Equity Shared resulting in
over-subscription of 29.87 times. The basis of allotment was finalized on 25/01/2005 in
consultation with the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (Designated Stock Exchange) and the Board of
Directors have allotted the shared at theri meeting held on 25/01/2005 as per details
given below:
1. Retail category (Investors applying upto 5000 shares)
The Company has received 62324 valid application for a total of
156192000 Equity Shares resulting in 39.048 times subscription. Allotments have been made
to the applicants on the basis of draw of lots. The number of shares allotted in this

made to applicants on the basis of draw of lots and in proportion to the inverse of the

Beneficiary Account of allottees with CDSL & NSDL have been credited on 27/01/2005
& 28/01/2005 respectively.
Listing Applications have been filed with The Stock Exchange, Mumbai & The National
Stock Exchange of India Ltd. on 28.01.2005.
